Templo Tenrikyo in the 1930s

1928 Fazenda Flora in Cafelândia-SP - 'Shudansho' or 'congregation-house' today would be called 'Fukyosho' (missionary house). 

1937 - 'cerimônia da cuminheira'; one can see Sanbra warehouse in the right-hand... 
1937 - same day: the leader of Baurú congregation, Shujiro Otake (wearing a suit) is flanking Sumi Nozaki...

Avencas 1940 - Colonia 'Daidou-Shokuminti' was popularly known as 'Igreja Marilia III' or 'Igreja Progresso' due to its being situated at Bairro Progresso in Avencas-SP. Rev. Hatijuro Nozaki was its leader; the main families were: Sassaki, Doy, Imaizumi, Fushimi, Kimura, Nomoto, Maekawa, Ueda etc.
