Marilia post 2001

beautiful shot of Catedral São Bento on rua Pedro de Toledo on a pre-storm afternoon.
this is a good shot of Marilia nowadays... it shows the skyline of a medium-sized city... not very different from hundreds of others...
same place at night...
an amazing shot by Fabio Vasconcelos where he went up one of the tallest building and used his zoom lens to show São Bento's Cathedral and the Palmital valley that lies far way. For some strange optical illusion it looks like the valley is next to the church but that is only a false impression. Palmital valley is actually kilometres away...
Christmas 1978... amazingly enough Marilia's Main Drag was almost the same I knew in 1958, except for those tall buildings on the left-hand side.
